Finally, India retaliated against Pakistan’s terrorist organizations. The Indian Air Force conducted air strikes within Pakistan and POK, i.e. Pak-authorized Kashmir, after midnight on Tuesday.In this attack, 9 terrorist hideouts in 7 cities were targeted. According to the information received so far, more than 100 terrorists have been killed in this.
This retaliatory action by India has been carried out 15 days after the Pahalgam attack and it has been named ‘Operation Sindoor’. This name is dedicated to those women whose husbands were killed by terrorists on 22 April in Pahalgam.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan can defend itself. But if India stops, we will also stop.
Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) director Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said, India fired 24 missiles. News agency ANI quoted sources as saying that PM Modi kept monitoring Operation Sindoor throughout the night.
Pakistani media and government have three different statements on the attack
First: Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif told Geo TV that India has launched missile attacks on Pakistan from its airspace, which fell on civilian areas.Second: Pakistani media claimed- Pakistani army shot down 6 Indian fighter jets. These include 3 Rafale, 2 Mig-29 and one Sukhoi. Indian checkposts near LoC have also been destroyed.

India said- did not attack Pakistani military bases
The Indian Army said that only terrorist hideouts were attacked in the strike. No Pakistani military base was attacked. News agency ANI quoted sources as saying that only Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar hideouts were selected as targets.
26 tourists including a Nepali national were killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir on April 22. The terrorists shot them after asking their religion.
